  • The lab has been awarded a new R01 from NIEHS! This 5 year project will study the role of imprinted genes in programming liver disease after developmental exposure to cadmium (May 2020)

  • The lab wins a feasibility study grant from UNC CGIBD to study epigenetic dysregulation of the Imprinted Gene Network in liver disease (October 2019)

  • Our new paper in Nature's Scientific Reports shows that early life cadmium exposure can increase susceptibility to hypertension in mice and explores the underlying mechanisms (September 2019)

  • The lab wins its first major grant from NIEHS! We will study how cadmium disrupts the methylome and imprinted gene regulation in development (September 2017)
 
  • Mike presents at the Gordon Research Conference on Epigenetics, showing that DNA methylation at imprinting control regions is highly sensitive to cadmium exposure (NH, August 2017)
 
  • Marine participates in the Transgenerational Epigenetic Inheritance workshop in Zurich where she presents a poster describing her recent work, and gives a talk on findings from her PhD (August 2017)
